The British University Newsreel Database (BUND) contains 160,000 records of British cinema newsreel production 1910 - 1979 and a large collection of digitised documents. Cinemagazines And The Projection Of Britain contains details of the new AHRC resource enhancement project with a short history of the British cinemagazine There is a Who’s Who of British Newsreels, A unique biographical database of British newsreel staff, including cameramen, editors, commentators and sound recordists. You'll find Oral history recordings and Extended interviews from the BECTU History Project with some of those who made the newsreels. Of importance is a database of abstracts of articles and books on the newsreels, based on the BUFVC’s acclaimed three-volume series, Researcher’s Guide to British Newsreels.
